Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Telecommunications Operator who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Telecommunications Operator you will:
• Relay incoming, outgoing and interoffice telephone calls. 
• Operate in-house, long range and overhead paging systems, announcing all codes and RR. 
• Function as patient information operator.
• Monitor alarms and notifies appropriate personnel.
• Process long distance calls for hospital staff, as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned. 

Qualifications include:
• High School Graduate/GED or equivalent years of experience
• At least one (1) year experience as an operator in a hospital setting preferred
