Description:

Your traveler will be expected to:

• Work independently within two weeks of start date AND in a team setting
• Obtain blood specimens
• Maintain knowledge of specific specimen requirements
• Follow correct order of draw based upon tube type and special handling of tests
• Utilize proper resources for obtaining specimen requirement information
• Collect and enter off-site blood work into system
• Complete and process a variety of forms
• Obtain pre-authorization and patient signature
• Prepare specimens for in-lab testing or off-site shipment
• Ensure blood-drawing stations are clean and well stocked

Must have experience with all ages of patient population (newborn to geriatric)
Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color

This client will not consider local travelers (who reside within 50 miles of facility)
