Position Summary:
Monitor the health status for clients within our transitional program which may include seniors and individuals with disabilities. Provide nursing services within defined scope of practice. Monitor the building to ensure the security and safety of clients, staff and guests; and take appropriate action in an emergency situation.
RPNs must be available for 12 hour shifts
Requirements:
Completion of a vocational, college or other approved program for licensed practical nurses and registration with a regulatory body required. Must have successfully completed the Canadian Practical Nurses Registration Examination and possess a current Registered Nursing Certificate of Competence for the Province of Ontario.Knowledge of Behaviour Strategies is an asset.
