Job Description Job Summary:
Provides specialized occupational therapy services to patients in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities. Ensures patients regain and maintain functional independence through customized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to improve patients' functional abilities.
- Design and fabricate splints and orthotic devices based on physician prescriptions.
- Supervise Assistant / Aide staff to ensure quality care and adherence to treatment protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and progress reports.
- Use therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance strength, range of motion, and fine motor skills.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri.
