Position Overview

This position is a 2nd shift entry level position located in Columbia, CT . The apprentice has the opportunity to develop skills through hands-on training, learning to manufacture, repair and maintain precision tools. Involves hands-on, on-the-job training in operating machinery like CNC mills, lathes, and grinders.

+ Assist/support Tool Maker

+ Build tooling and/or components to specified requirements

+ Perform repair/rework on damaged or out of tolerance parts and tooling to meet requirements

+ Set-up and operate CNC mills, manual mills and lathes

+ Inspect parts and tooling using calibrated measuring equipment
