Job Description

The Role:

As the Trade Counter Assistant you will be:

  • Dealing with customers on the phone and in person
  • Preparing orders
  • Maintaining stock levels and dealing with stock queries
  • Liaising with suppliers when necessary
  • Using the IT system
  • Cash handling
  • Checking dockets
  • Organising stock in the warehouse
  • General housekeeping
  • Requirements for the successful Trade Counter Assistant:

  • Previous Customer Service / Sales experience essential
  • Knowledge of electrical products essential
  • Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job in the warehouse
  • Reliable
  • Good computer skills
  • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
  • Adherence to and appreciation for H&S and general housekeeping standards
  • Hours of work:

  • Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
  • Sat - (working 1 out of 3)
