We are supporting a well-established international commodities trading organisation on a Trade Operations hire. This role sits within the execution team and is responsible for end-to-end contract execution across physical sugar trades, ensuring smooth shipment coordination, documentation, and financial settlement.
What you will be doing - Manage full trade lifecycle for physical sugar contracts (bulk, break bulk, containers, trucks)
- Handle contract splitting and shipment planning across various origins
- Coordinate nominations, logistics, and shipping documentation
- Ensure timely invoicing and payment processing
- Manage claims and settlements (e.g. laytime, pricing adjustments)
- Liaise closely with traders, logistics, finance, and external counterparties
- Ensure all trades are executed within internal risk parameters
