The Trainee Cardiac Physiology Technician role provides on‑the‑job training over a one‑year fixed‑term contract within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau. You will receive a Certificate of Physiological Measurement (CPM) offered by the Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology (SCT) and be trained to perform non‑invasive cardiac procedures, including ECG recording, Holter monitor and event fitting, exercise tolerance testing and spirometry.
In the Cardiology department you will work alongside physiologists, sonographers, cardiac nurses and physicians across Counties Manukau sites. The team values continuous education, professional development and a positive work culture.
