Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Stead House Distribution Centre as a Transport Operator. The role is based on the PM shift, with flexibility required to work other shifts. You will work a 5/7 working pattern, including regular weekend work and some lone working.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all drivers are issued with correct delivery instructions and activities, debrief drivers after every trip and deliver feedback to the appropriate department.
• Optimise all resources available.
• Work closely with the warehouse operations function to ensure seamless loading and dispatch procedures.
• Liaise with the planning team and provide information and recommendations where required.
• Provide constructive feedback to the driver management team on driver performance and behaviour.
