General Summary of Position
The Transporter supports the Manager and staff by performing the following duties; Responsible for the timely courteous and competent transportation of patients throughout MedStar National Rehabilitation Network (MNRN) and MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC) complexes via wheelchair stretcher or bed. He/she will also perform a variety of other support services functions as needed to provide service excellence to patients visitors and hospital team members.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Transports patient his/her personal possessions medical records and attached clinical devices (IV's and oxygen) by wheelchair stretcher bed etc. to and from various hospital locations and to the hospital entrance upon discharge.
