Responsibilities: Drive the Company's truck for collection and transportation of waste. Ensure compliance with all Traffic rules, and to practice safe driving habits whilst driving the Company's trucks. Comply with all rules governing the transportation of hazardous liquids/chemicals on public roads. Comply with all anti-littering laws and to this end, ensure that proper containers, bins, drums etc., are used to hold the Waste, for safe transportation. Ensure that the containers, bins, drums etc., are properly secured/lashed to the truck, before driving off. Carry out daily operator-level maintenance on the company trucks. Monitor the Maintenance and/or LTA's Inspection schedules of the Company's trucks and to inform the Supervisor, at least two (2) weeks before the due date. Monitor the validity date of the Road Tax and/or Vehicle Insurance policy and inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the expiry date.
