About the role:
An opportunity exists for an experienced OTR Tyre Fitter with a strong safety focus to join our Wilpinjong Mine. Our Wilpinjong mine is an open-cut mine located 58 kilometres northeast of Mudgee producing a high quality thermal coal for export and domestic markets.
You will be part of a dynamic team contributing to the successful performance of the mine along with the following duties:
Mechanical maintenance and tyre repairs on light, medium and heavy vehicles performed in a safe and productive manner;Tread depth measurements, pressure readings and inspections on all heavy earthmoving Mobile Equipment;Actively participate in effective shift change over’s and shift Pre-Starts;Complete a detailed written hand over at the end of each shift;Be an active participant in the Continuous Improvement Program;Conduct site hazard reports;Minimise production downtime in the...
