The Digital Collection Services Team at the National Library of New Zealand is seeking a Librarian to support the acquisition of born-digital collections for the Alexander Turnbull Library.
Responsibilities include learning best practices for digital collection care, collaborating with teams across the Library, and helping to preserve unpublished born-digital collections such as digital photography, oral histories, manuscripts, and digital ephemera.
You will work closely with Digital Archivists to assess, ingest, and reduce the backlog of digital collections, gaining valuable experience in digital preservation.
