Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Polisher / Prepper to join a busy automotive bodyshop operation in Upper Heyford. This is a hands-on role working within a modern workshop environment, preparing vehicles to a high standard prior to paint and final finish.

The successful candidate will be confident carrying out both polishing and preparation work across a range of vehicles.

The Role:


As a Vehicle Polisher / Prepper, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing vehicles and panels for paint, including sanding, masking, and priming

  • Polishing newly painted vehicles to remove imperfections and achieve a high-quality finish

  • Carrying out prep work to ensure vehicles are paint-ready

  • Removing and refitting panels and bumpers where required

  • Supporting the bodyshop team to maintain workflow and productivity
