Senior Veterinary Surgeon – ABC Program

Location: Pune-based | Full-time | Project travel as required

Canine Control and Care (CCC) is looking for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to support its high-volume Animal Birth Control program for stray and community dogs.

Role:

The surgeon will lead and perform ABC surgeries for stray dogs and cats, pre-operative checks, anesthesia management, post-operative monitoring, clinical care, infection control, and medical record keeping, while ensuring humane handling and strong animal welfare standards.

Requirements:

• MVSc with valid veterinary registration

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on ABC surgery experience

• Strong skills in spay/neuter surgery, anesthesia, and peri-operative care

• Must be based in Pune and willing to travel to other CCC project sites when required
