Job Description

Summary Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Responsibilities As a Warden, the incumbent is responsible for exercising control and supervision of all aspects of the institution's functions, which may include oversight of Federal Prison Industries. The incumbent plays a major role in the determination and establishment of policies and programs involved in institutional operations. The incumbent assists in setting broad policies and developing procedures to conduct programs of the entire institution. This position requires broad knowledge in the correctional field and wide knowledge of various institutional activities.
