Major Responsibilities: - Accountable for the positioning and immobilization of patients and proper selection of technical factors along with computer reformatting of acquired data to obtain magnetic resonance scans procedures of optimal quality.
- 5)Initiates IVs for administration of contrast media for MRI enhancement in accordance with departmental policy and utilizing universal precautions in the process.
- 6)Archives images onto optical disks.
- 7)Follows MRI workflow including networking of images to PACS and verifying studies.
- 1)Selects appropriate technical factors on an individual patient and procedural basis to provide optimal quality examinations.
- 2)Performs post processing of computer data to enhance data and image information.
