**Job Description**
This role is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. The welder will work primarily on large structural steel components for NAVSEA-related equipment, ensuring high-quality, precise, and durable welds in a demanding fabrication environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform structural welding on large steel components for NAVSEA-related equipment using flux core and pulse welding techniques.
+ Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
+ Fit and assemble various large structural steel components prior to welding to ensure proper alignment and fit-up.
+ Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to complete welding and fabrication tasks accurately.
