**Position Overview**

As a Welder, you will perform **MIG welding** on mild steel to produce reliable, well‑built fabricated products in a clean, organized industrial shop. You’ll work from **blueprints** , prepare materials, and execute welds in multiple positions while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.

**Responsibilities**

+ **MIG welding on mild steel** to fabricate and assemble components according to specifications
+ **Reading blueprints** to determine weld locations, dimensions, and assembly requirements
+ **Preparing materials** using fixtures, jigs, and positioning tools
+ Operating manual wire‑feed and automatic welding equipment with proper heat, arc, speed, and bead control
