Job Description
- Assembling and fabricating structures made of metal.
- Reading blueprints and drawings.
- Taking and reading measurements.
- Following specifications and instructions for maximum efficiency.
- Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
- Repairing machinery.
- Planning layouts and procedures.
- Determining appropriate welding equipment or machinery to be used.
- Setting up components for welding.
- Conducting tests on welded parts to verify weld quality and conformance to specifications.
- Working with wood to build and repair structures and other items.
- Selecting and sourcing appropriate materials.
- Calculating quotes and meeting with clients.
- Creating design plans for remodeling projects.
- Able to work alternate sundays whenever is needed.
