**Overview**

**Job Title: Wet Lab Operator**

**Job Location: Williamsport, PA**

This position will work under minimal supervision and in accordance with written and oral instructions. Most duties will be performed in the cleaning & plating room. The Wet Lab Operator will carefully handle assemblies while wearing appropriate PPE to keep parts from being fingerprinted, and prevent operator contact with highly toxic and corrosive chemicals.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform routine chemical cleaning of components:
+ degrease
+ acids and rinse tanks
+ alkaline cleaning tanks
+ ultrasonic rinses
+ Note: at times this requires lifting of component baskets of weights up to 40 pounds
+ Calculate component plating area using actual part or drawing.
+ Electroplate components by adjusting to specified voltages and currents to yield desired thicknesses.
+ Inspect plating thickness as specified using XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence).
