Job Overview

The Whey Plant Production Manager is responsible for the operations of the whey facility.


Job Responsibilities


+ Organize, lead and supervise whey employees

+ Manage and coach supervisors to strengthen and enhance their management skills.

+ Administer an open door policy with employees to address issues, problems and concerns.

+ Challenge manufacturing systems for continuous improvement

+ Provide input and guidance on new equipment purchases.

+ Work closely with the quality control department, assisting with information gathering and follow up.

+ Coordinate with production schedules for daily scheduling changes and updates.

+ Process daily employee issues and complaints; listen well and provide tactful feedback.
