Job Description
Enhance education at the Toronto Zoo as a Part Time Wildlife Education Content Developer. This role involves crafting interpretive content aimed at promoting wildlife conservation initiatives.
In this role, reporting to the Supervisor of Volunteering & Engagement, you will research, write, and evaluate educational content designed to engage and inform visitors about wildlife. Your contributions will support the zoo’s strategic plan and accreditation readiness while nurturing public interest in conservation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and create educational content for interpretive signage
• Source visual assets for signage and educational use
• Evaluate both existing and new educational resources
• Assist in developing innovative learning experiences
• Support coordination of various educational projects
Requirements:
• Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field
