Job Description

Step into a vital role as a Kiipewii'Chego Advocate with the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs in Winnipeg. This full-time position is dedicated to supporting expectant mothers and families through healthcare and child welfare initiatives.
You will work closely with First Nations families to navigate their needs and establish effective support systems. Your advocacy will focus on enhancing cultural identity and facilitating family reunification, ensuring that each family has access to essential resources and support networks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in weekly case conferences and manage files
• Oversee intake processes for new clients
• Collaborate with Perinatal Support Workers for effective care
• Foster strong relationships for birth plans and family ties
• Connect clients with Elders and cultural resources
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent experience
