**Key responsibilities**:
- Carry out cleaning and routine housekeeping in the engine room
- Assist Engine Ratings and Engineers with daily maintenance and repair jobs
- Handle garbage and waste as per ship’s procedures
- Follow safety rules and use PPE at all times
- Participate in drills and emergency duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Previous sea experience as Wiper or Engine Cadet preferred
- Valid STCW basic safety training and medical fitness certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for physically demanding work in engine room conditions
- Team player with a positive and safety-minded attitude
