A Primary School in Tameside is looking to appoint a committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis supporting a child in Year 2 with challenging behaviour and SEND needs.

This role is a long‑term opportunity for a confident and proactive individual who can build strong relationships and provide consistent support within the classroom environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Has experience supporting children with SEND and challenging behaviour
• Ideally holds Team Teach Training
• Has a confident, friendly, and positive personality
• Is resilient and can remain calm under pressure
• Can work effectively alongside the class teacher and SENDCO
• Can provide tailored support to help the child engage positively with learning
