Responsibilities The Yard Associate is part of a team dedicated to customer service, order preparation, and loading operations, while working safely at all times.
- Greet customers in the yard and assist them with questions and product selection
- Verify that quantities on documents match the order
- Assist customers with loading their vehicles
- Ensure accurate product selection
- Help prepare customer orders
- Organize and stock materials in the yard and warehouse
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the lumber yard
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Perform other related duties as required
