Role description:
The candidate will actively engage in sales activities within the hospitality, restaurant, or catering sector. They will primarily focus on selling venue space for events to a diverse client base, while also contributing to event management tasks as required.
Responsibilities will include:
Actively prospecting and engaging with potential customers in the hospitality, restaurant, or catering industry.
Selling venue space for events to both existing and new clients.
Collaborating with the events team to ensure seamless execution of events.
Providing excellent customer service and fostering long-term relationships with clients.
Assisting with event management tasks and logistics as necessary.
This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities:
Based in New Zealand with a visa
1+ years sales experience in hospitality, restaurant or catering sector.
Background in food service or hospitality and interest in current food trends.
Excellent communication, enthusiastic and able to establish relationships with clients.
