We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. You will be joining a team of BI and Geospatial Analysts and have an opportunity to work alongside our leading BI business partners. This position will offer a chance to work in a fast changing environment and develop the people, processes, and tools to deliver effective and efficient BI for our organisation.
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we advance our Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices and help the organisation progress on the BI Maturity Curve. There will be opportunities to closely work with subject matter experts and promote the use of self-service analytics within the Azure and Power BI environments. We are diving deep into our Technology One systems of record to drive operational performance excellence.
This position will give you a chance to make a significant contribution to the goals of WDC and enable more effective and strategically aligned decision making at the council.
Ideally, you would have a relevant qualification in Computer Science or similar, accompanied by 3-5 years' experience with delivering business intelligence working with Azure BI products, Agile Azure DevOps, Azure Boards, Data Factory, Purview, Synapse and Power BI Service, & HTML/CSS. If you are an experienced self-starter that really enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment, focused on delivering outstanding customer service, are an efficient organiser, and have a can-do attitude then we want to talk with you!
