Business Manageris an important role responsible for leading client work going through the agency to produce excellent campaigns that are flawlessly executed. You will work with the client, senior suits in your team, creative and production to take our solutions to market on budget and on time. Here are the things we want you to do: As the Business Manager you will be responsible for leading client work going through the agency to create brand universes for our clients Ensure smooth running of your creative project – you will be the central point of contact for the client and the agency and will be aware of all elements, their status and what needs to be done to move a project forward. In some situations you will partner with your Senior Business Director or Managing Partner to deliver a piece of work. Support your senior suits, and in some instances lead through the production process – you will be required to take responsibility for work being produced to an excellent standard, on time, every time. Problem solving – you will develop skills around when to raise a potential problem, and ideas as to how to solve that problem with the support of your more senior team members. You will be a champion of the client's brand within the building, and for our clients, knowing the brand guidelines intimately so provide guidance widely as to whether the work is on brand or not. You'll work alongside your Senior Business Director to create the conditions to sell the creative work most effectively – they will work with you directly to coach you in this area. You'll be a timeline and budgeting whizz – collaborating with your peers within Colenso to create timelines create space to make the best work, while still creating confidence with your clients. You will know the categories your client operates in intimately, regularly provide reporting including competitor reviews, campaign performance and so on. Here are the things we think you need: 2+ years of agency and marketing experience, and proven ability to juggle multiple jobs whilst maintaining good attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills as a team player with experience training others. A real passion and energy for creativity and doing great work. Ability to think beyond execution and to offer solutions rather than problems. Knowing when to flag when something is a potential issue, and bringing in the right people to address potential issues Thrives in a busy environment. Possess strong communication and presentation skills. Be well organised, self-starting and able to prioritise work effectively A natural collaborator and people person; participating fully as an integral member of the team, working co-operatively and collaboratively with the team and wider agency. Demonstrates high level of commitment and support to both Colenso and the team.
