As the CFO...Reporting to the Founder & Managing Director, and as part of the SLT, you will have overall responsibility for the financial optimisation of our business across both Commercial & Financial Operations.

Leading a small Finance team, you will be coming on board as our first in-house CFO and will be encouraged to make your mark and be pivotal to the continued success of our business

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

Partnering with the Managing Director and GM of Sales to guide, advise and present financial insights, business models, and recommendations that will enable the business to make the best decisions around future growth, onboarding of new customers, performance and optimisation.

Providing Financial leadership, mentorship, and direction to the Finance team (2 direct reports), ensuring that the team is well supported and aligned to achieve the right business outcomes. As this is the first in-house CFO position, this will include taking a hands-on approach to understanding the historical structure, processes, and reports.

Preparation and ownership of financial budgets, management reports, cashflow forecasting, pricing and commercial analysis, business case and scenario modelling.

Continuous improvement, taking a lead in ensuring that technology, systems and processes are fully optimised and where there are opportunities, those are harnessed.

Attending customer meetings and presentations with the SLT to ensure that customer reporting requirements align and are smoothly integrated.

What you will bring to the role:You will need to have a qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business and hold a professional qualification; CA, CPA, CIMA.Have held Financial leadership positions; CFO, Commercial Management, Head of Finance (with a Commercial finance focus) and be confident presenting to and advising the SLT and partnering with external stakeholders. Experience with Microsoft Business Central will be preferred.Experience with ERP, systems and reporting integrations & implementation.Prior experience, expertise, and a passion for the FMCG industry are essential for this position.We are looking for someone who thrives in a forward-thinking, innovative, and dynamic environment, who isn't afraid to get hands-on and into the numbers when needed.This is a pivotal role for our business and future growth; we are looking for someone who will align closely with our values and add to our team culture.Based in Parnell, AucklandParking is available (shared across the team)Package includes base + medical insuranceIf you are interested in the role APPLY NOW or call our recruitment partner; Vanesha Din on 021569499
