We're seeking a dedicated Client Assurance Analyst to join our Supervision team at Trustees Corporate Supervision. As a critical member of our team, you'll work closely with the Client Assurance Manager to assess the controls environment of our supervised clients. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating and supporting the Client Assurance Manager to assess the controls environment of supervised clients, and monitoring effective remediation of control weaknesses where required and support the Client Assurance Manager's reporting to the TCS Board, the FMA and / or Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) as required. Monitoring of supervised and non-supervised clients to ensure Trustees Executors has an intelligence-led, risk-based approach to managing its clients by understanding the potential harms they may present to investors and other stakeholders. Support the Client Assurance Manager as part of a team to provide effective risk management, controls testing and relationship management to TCS clients. Working alongside the TCS team as a shared resource across the wider client facing team. You will be required to work constructively with the Client Assurance Manager, Head of Client Supervision, your peers and colleagues to ensure the team's supervision priorities are effectively delivered to our corporate trustee clients. Skills and Qualities We're Seeking We are eagerly anticipating the unique talents you'll bring to our team. Here are the skills and qualities we're looking for: Tertiary degree, ideally in accounting, finance, commerce or legal. At least five years' experience in financial services or a similar environment. Experience in audit, internal audit, risk management, investigation or a forensic accounting background would be highly beneficial. Good understanding of the regulatory environment under the Financial Markets Conduct Act, financial sector, markets, and products. Experience in operational processes, governance, risk, compliance, and assurance frameworks used to deliver retail and / or wholesale financial products. Knowledge of Managed Investment Schemes, Non-bank Deposit Takers and Debt Securities (Listed Issuers, Securitisation) would be preferable and an advantage. Client service focused and strong people skills. Perception; a healthy degree of professional scepticism, inquiry, curiosity, and alertness to risk. Ability to communicate and influence all levels of an organisation up to senior management and board level. Self-starter with sound judgement and application of policies.
