Mauri Kaha! About us The Auckland Regional Forensic Psychiatry Services (ARFPS), also known as the Mason Clinic, is the largest Forensic Mental Health Service in New Zealand. The Mason Clinic is in a period of growth and expansion. With over 220 inpatient beds it is the largest provider of mental health inpatient services on one site in the country. About the team Our purpose is to meet the needs of people who have an intellectual disability and possible mental health problems within the context of criminal offending. The 'Mason Approach' advocates for respectful, safe, and involving services, delivering recovery and strengths focused care that is culturally safe, evidence and values based. About the role Are you an experienced health practitioner with strong clinical experience in forensic services, specialist intellectual disability and/or mental health looking to advance your career pathway? Ideally, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in forensics, intellectual disability and/or mental health. A strong foundation in physical, intellectual disability and/or mental health is preferred. This is an opportunity for your professional growth in a senior role. About you * Bachelor's degree level tertiary health qualification (eg, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Medicine) * Holds registration and a current annual practicing certificate * At least five (5) years of strong clinical experience in forensic services, intellectual disability, and/or specialist mental health and addictions (or relevant specialty area) * Clean NZ full drivers licence Te Whatu Ora Waitemata celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
