This newly created role will provide treatment recommendations and specialist support to the Emergency Department staff, relevant inpatient unit staff, other health professionals and community support organisations as required and assist with clinical decision making and the planning, implementation and evaluation of care given to young people to facilitate a person centred and recovery focused approach. These new positions will work alongside existing CAMHS services and have been developed as initiatives under the CAMHS reform program (Youth, Youth Forensic, Out of Home Care). The Role Will Include: Providing a specialist triage, crisis and clinical assessment service that supports right place, right time and right care principles to facilitate determined need, and undertaking high level assessments including development and implementation of care planning for designated clients.
