Starship Child Health is looking for a motivated and dynamic physiotherapist with a passion for paediatrics to join our team. You will be based in the Starship Community team at Greenlane Clinical Centre. Children's Therapy staff work within a model of family-centred care and the services are provided in a collaborative manner with other allied health teams, nursing and medical staff. This position offers an ideal opportunity for you to develop or extend your paediatric expertise, as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will benefit from regular formal supervision, peer review, collegial support and active participation in education and in-service programmes.
You will need to be an NZ Registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate and an experience in a relevant area of paediatric care. The ability to work autonomously in a bicultural environment is essential.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday based out of Greenlane Clinical Centre. As the role is a community role, a full and clean NZ driver’s licence is also required.

You will join our dedicated multidisciplinary team of consultants, nurse specialist, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, clinical neuropsychologists and team support who are driven by providing a high-quality clinical service across New Zealand. The Starship Rehabilitation Service is based at Starship Hospital. Clinics are conducted at the Wilson Centre, and inpatients are based at both Starship and the Wilson Centre. We will be delivering a network of outreach clinics across the country, in which you will have the opportunity to participate.
