Te aheinga The opportunity We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Consents & Regulatory team as a Consents Monitoring Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the compliance of resource consents and monitoring development activities to ensure they align with regulatory requirements and community objectives. Tino takohanga Key responsibilities Processing RMA and related applications Providing RMA expertise Applicable financial management Actively ensure that legislative requirements and Council policies and procedures are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislation Nga tino pukenga me nga wheako Essential skills and experience A tertiary qualification related to resource management or land use planning. Practical experience and competency in Resource Management legislative processes. A general knowledge of other Local Government legislation and consent processes. Awareness of the Local Government political environment. Computer literacy. Driver's licence. District Plan administration work within a Local Government environment.
