Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to bring your expertise and make this newly created role your own. You will play a key role in the development and compliance of contracted services within the organisation, ensuring they continue to meet or exceed contractual expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strategic relationships with funders, continuously evaluating contract performance, and initiating activities for improvement. This role also involves overseeing a subcontractor network, driving compliance across all levels, and managing any variations to standard contract terms and conditions.
What you'll do:
As a Contracts Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. Your primary responsibility will be leading the management of all contracts with funders for various contracted services. You will maintain strategic relationships with funders while continuously evaluating contract performance. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in overseeing the subcontractor network, ensuring they are up-to-date on contract operational processes and opportunities. Your leadership skills will shine as you drive compliance across subcontractors, managers, and staff. With your expertise in contract negotiation, development, and contract law, you will share knowledge and offer best practices advice.

What you bring:
The ideal Contracts Manager candidate brings a wealth of experience along with a relevant tertiary qualification in health or business. With a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role, you are compliance and improvement focused, with the ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership. Your excellent negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities set you apart, along with your knack for building relationships. You have excellent time management skills and can multitask effectively. Your consistency in setting up, running, and reporting on contracts is commendable, and your attention to detail is second to none. Proficiency in using various Microsoft office packages including working knowledge of Power BI and/or contract management systems or software is a must.
