Account & Relationship Management (Sales) We're looking for a Customer Relationship Manager to join our Grocery Wholesale team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Head of Commercial. Joining our Grocery Wholesale team you'll take accountability for managing the store level relationships and support NZGW customers from primarily an operational perspective. Being in the field taking feedback, offering support, solving problems, dispensing advice and engaging customers at the coalface are all key activities for the role. About the Role | Mo te Turanga Engaging with customers at store level nation wide and feeding back to the rest of the NZGW team key items that need to be actioned or discussed further Engaging the relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure wholesale customers are provided with the service to our obligated and agreed levels. Securing new business opportunities in conjunction with the NZGW Commercial team Highlighting range opportunities to customers to assist in getting the right range into customers stores Working with and ensuring customers have appropriate demand forecasts in place, this is critical for a healthy service level to be achieved by NZGW for its customers Monitoring forecasts, financial performance and supply for wholesale customers Maintains awareness of product trends, availability, and customer preferences so an appropriate range can be recommended to customers Build a program of work to deliver key outcomes in line with our commitments to Wholesale customers Build productive and constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Collaborates across teams to ensure efficient, on time delivery of products Develops longer-term plans, including recommendations to changes in strategy for the customer base To succeed in this role you will need to be a passionate self starter who loves to build out and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and have the ability to spot gaps and where to flesh out those areas for improvement If you're the sort of individual who strives to always do the right thing for customers, team, our communities, and our business then we ought to connect. To be successful in this position, you will have previous experience with: Strong level of financial and commercial acumen using data to make informed decisions Experience in building and managing strategic relationships with key customers and external partners Experience in FMCG or general retail. Represent the organisation externally, with significant accountability for reputation and brand Change and stakeholder management Problem Solving Working collaboratively across multiple functions Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Microsoft and Google applications.
