You will have the special ability to efficiently manage a portfolio of insurance claims from start to finish, ensuring your claims are cost effective, compliant, whilst delivering exceptional customer service to our clients and customers throughout the process. **Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include;** + Actively manage a case load of claims, that could be either or a combination of EQC or General Insurance domestic, which will involve liaising with engineers, surveyors, architects, builders and the customer through to completion + For EQC claims, work with the EQC Act and delegations to meet service and quality standard + Obtain high quality information by investigation in a timely manner (supported where required by site notes, photographs, witness statements, and other appropriate evidence) so as to be able to properly conclude on policy liability, legal liability, quantum, subrogation and risk management issues in Compliance with prevailing client requirements + Engage and manage specialists as and when required, including reviewing reports and providing instruction or progressing the claim + To participate positively and constructively as a team member, sharing knowledge and providing feedback and suggestions + Providing advice, recommendations and support within your expertise to the wider team **The person** We want you to be successful, therefore as a minimum you’ll need: + A minimum of two years working experience in the general insurance industry, and/or EQC claim management, and/or construction industry experience, and/or repair management, or a related industry with transferrable skills + Knowledge of insurance operational processes, practices and risk management + Fantastic communication skills, allowing you to build an easy rapport with customers and your colleagues + Great time management where you can demonstrate you can juggle multiple priorities with ease + Be computer and systems savvy + Positive and hard-working attitude **Benefits & Culture** When you join the Gallagher Bassett team, you’ll be joining a culture of best practice, partnership, success and fun!
