Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role
Reporting to the Head of Digital Channels, the Development Lead role is a hand-on technical role focused on the development of our online platform Public Trust Online, and involves leading and coaching a team of junior developers, ensuring that we are constantly raising the quality of our code and digital deliverables.
Collaborating with solutions architects and a wide range of stakeholders to meet long term objectives, this role is responsible for ensuring that what we are building is scalable and robust, as we deliver new features, update existing code and fix bugs.

Having full stack (LEMP) developer experience with a focus on around a Laravel platform and Object Oriented PHP, is essential. Equally important is your ability to effectively build relationships and communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring that we are making the right technical design choices for the long-term growth and success of our digital channels.
An experience people leader, you enjoy solving technical problems, whist viewing them through a customer lens. We will value your strong aptitude for using insights in design and idea generation whilst driving a culture change to digital first.
