Our purpose built offices close to Auckland Airport is home to New Zealand’s largest Distribution Centre and our Support Centre where our team of 1000 people strong, all strive towards becoming one of the most customer driven retailers in the world.eCommerce is one of the highest strategic priorities for Foodies and our ambition is to create a multi-channel network, leveraging the strengths of our members to refocus our digital front and customer experience.About the roleYou’ll be responsible for managing the implementation and rollout of eCommerce initiatives, ensuring successful integration of new eCommerce platforms and drive continuous improvement. Collaborating with various cross-functional teams, you’ll use project management skills and optimise processes and provide training and coaching to store teams to drive the continuous improvement of our fulfilment process, focusing on best practice using Order Management, picking systems, ranging and compliance.Key tasks include:Leading the implementation and rollout of eCommerce platforms and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.Identifying business opportunities, developing partnerships, and implementing strategies to maximize online sales and customer engagement.Regularly visit store sites to ensure Best Practise is being implemented, identify all operational and customer experience opportunities for improvement, as well as growing the capability of the eCommerce store teams.Manage project schedules and resources to ensure timely delivery of ecommerce initiatives.Establish and train roll outs of any process changes/business direction or improvement of eCommerce and support/provide feedback on any proof of concepts or pilots.Conduct thorough testing of ecommerce platforms to identify and resolve any technical issues or performance bottlenecks.About youYou’ll have proven eCommerce experience and come with a background in continuous improvement, agile and lean principles and be proficient in data analysis tools with the ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders in the business. As a strategic thinker with excellent planning, time management and communication skills, you’ll easily collaborate with cross functional teams and build robust relationships.You’ll also be able to:Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations in the eCommerce industry.Identify and address technical and operational challenges related to eCommerce platforms and process and be proactive in proposing and implementing solutions.Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to online sales, conversion rates, customer satisfaction and profitability.Generate regular reports and dashboards to track progress, identify areas of improvement and present insights to Owner Operators and Store Managers.Interpret and understand “metrics that matter” to drive improved operational performance of the eCommerce channel.What’s in it for youIn return, we offer a competitive salary package including a discount at our supermarkets, flexible working so you can get the most out of life, free parking, participation in the company superannuation fund, birthday leave and long service leave!
