What kind of Company is this?
This Napier office is just one office of a well-established and growing company in New Zealand who provide total engineering solutions from concept through to after sales support.
Their ingenuity to provide proven custom designed equipment and services has kept the business rolling in. They specialise in design and build of Industrial Plant Equipment that they integrate into Manufacturing Plants. Their knowledge and experience have made them major players in specialist technical engineering solutions.
Who do we need and what will you do?
We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer who is a “doer” to act as a design and project engineer on large, bespoke industrial projects from front end engineering design right through to commissioning on site and client handover.
There is currently a major project underway with a well-known New Zealand Manufacturer that you would work on, and your team are working on other projects too. So large project work, and job stability are on offer here!
This project and others like it is just one of many other projects to come in a new phase of large decarbonisation projects for large manufacturers. So, you will be joining a company who are well placed and setup to capitalise on delivering greener and more efficient plant equipment to many manufacturers who will be seeking this over the coming years.
As the company do design, build, and project delivery you will get more involved in the whole project than you would working for a consultant. And if you are currently employed by a manufacturing plant employer or machine builder the project work on offer here will hopefully provide you with more interesting and larger project work with a range of clients.
This is a permanent job and the standard hours are 40 hours per week.
Does this fit with your experience and skills?
Do you have the “nice to have’s” this Company want?
What level of travel is required?
Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally is required for project commissioning.
