Our dedicated mobile teams of employment consultants serve the greater Auckland area from our North Shore, South Auckland and Papakura Hubs providing support from Pokeno to KaitaiaRole:Employment Consultants work with clients referred to Ember Services Limited, Employment Service, to identify their employment goals and aspirations and to facilitate placement into open employment. Supporting clients to maintain employment through an individualised employment support plan is an essential component of the position.To build and maintain robust relationships with a range of companies and employers which reflects the diversity of the employment market.To ensure that the Ministry of Social Development contract targets are met both individually and collectivelyYou will:National Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 or equivalentFull current NZ drivers' licenceIdeally have experience working within Employment Support or related roles e.g. WINZ, Careers Advisor, Benefits or working in the disability, youth, residential and/or mental healthHave the ability to manage highly sensitive matters whilst maintaining confidentiality and objectivityThrive on achieving targets – persistence, resilience, drive and determination to succeed.Have exceptional written and verbal communications skills and the ability to relate, adapt to and engage a wide spectrum of people with diverse backgrounds, ages and cultures.Hold a valid/current work visa, residency, or citizenshipHave a passion for walking along side those in need, supporting on-going goals on the pathway to recovery.When applying please have:Up to date CV preparedCover Letter detailing Why you're interested in the role?What skills, competencies and experience you bring to the role?Ember is an equal opportunity employer.
