Our client offers WFH flex (typically with Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Newmarket office) and a diverse & inclusive workplace.

About the Role:

Reporting into the experienced Marketing Director and sitting within the close-nit Marketing & Comms team, in this role you will learn lots, have support when needed and have fun along the way!!

On the events side, this role is primarily tasked to oversee the planning, execution, and management of a wide range of exciting events and additional experiences (features/sponsorships) to create noise at exhibitions.

Feature concepts/sponsorships are fun, innovative events such as speakers, demonstrations that help increase revenue for both clients to help increase client and sponsorship revenue and make the events a more appealing affair – think like a mini festival!

This role will prepare concept briefs and proposals to assist with creating these opportunities for both events features.

This role is the key contact for clients and stakeholders and works closely with the Operations Events Coordinator regarding budgets and logistics and ensuring the visitor experience is second to none.

On the marketing side, working closely with the Marketing Content Manager, this role is tasked to help increase subscribers, creating topical content (blogs, posts) and show the benefits and create exposure for sponsorship activities with clients/potential clients.

Ultimately meeting marketing objectives for the business, and clients/sponsors bringing exhibitor products and industry trends to life. Therefore, this role will help input into all marketing communications to increase subscribers, visitor attendance, increase exhibitor /sponsors sales and add value to their investment.

There is a commercial element to this role as well identifying opportunities and enveloping new offerings, so concepts and proposals will need to be created,

The role is mainly autonomous but will also have the support of key internal stakeholders and external agencies when required.

This role could be 4 days for a more experienced candidate.

About You:

The ideal person will have experience planning and managing events with clients and sponsors, with a level of marketing & communications experience to support the team creating engagement & awareness for both the business, clients, and sponsors.

You will therefore have a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences as well as creating concepts and proposals for events/experiences. Alongside creating and inputting into relevant B2B content across blogs, posts and websites.

We are looking for a confident person who likes to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to get a fulfilling job done!

You will be proactive, a good listener, have the ability to create opportunities, so strategic as well as jumping in were needed.

You are an ambitious self-starter, be a keen multitasker, and will thrive in a fast paced, busy and exciting environment. Outstanding project management skills are clearly required here.

You will be a team player as well as be able to work autonomously, be proactive in your approach, with your entrepreneurial in mindset.

You will be confident with a natural curiosity with great EQ and people skills to get the best out of people you are working with.
