Setting the global vision and strategy for Worley's Financial Controllership end-to-end processes, owns the process design to drive optimisation and performance across all geographies, functions, and business units, leveraging the delivery capability in the organisation to enable Worley's strategic aspirations. Set our vision and drive strategic direction. Optimise Worley's end to end processes and create a greater experience for our people. The Financial Controller Global Process Excellence Director will have significant authority, autonomy and accountability to fundamentally shift the way processes are owned and managed at Worley. This position is a critical enabler in the establishment of a global process framework at Worley. The team is highly collaborative with members across the global organisation. Based across Worley global locations with flexible working options, WFH/Remote/Hybrid/Office Responsibilities: Establishing the Worley Global Process Framework for Financial Controllership Establish the process ownership capability across the functionsEstablish strong working relationships across the teams that play a part in Financial Controller activities Leads the global process team for Financial Controllership across Worley, including Global Process Managers and LeadsEstablish leadership credibility to ensure buy into the target global process framework's role in our success as a large connected global organisationEstablish systems of management, measurement and engagement around the Global Process Framework for Financial Controllership at Worley Financial Controllership Process Strategy Accountable for setting and implementing the vision and drive strategic direction Establishing targets and KPIs to ensure process performance meets critical, strategic business requirementsManage stakeholder engagement at Worley Group Executive and Senior Executive Level to influence changeEmployee experience and compliance, immediate focus is balance sheet reconciliation and reporting improvementImprove the end-to-end employee experience in a measurable way Financial Controllership Process Design Focus on end-to-end process design, documentation, architecture including data, controls and policiesAccountable for continuous improvement in process design to enhance process efficiency, effectiveness and compliance while optimising costsAccountable for effective documentation of global process blueprints, procedures, local exceptions, and changes Financial Controllership Process Oversight Oversee the monitoring and analysis of process compliance and performance Determine data-driven insights and process improvement prioritiesSet and maintain process level master data standards within the context of the global policy and monitoring adherenceEnsure alignment to policy and knowledge artifacts for global Financial Controller processesEmploys human centred design practices, putting People at Worley at the centre of all that we do. Programme & Project Management Enable projects and initiatives to drive continuous process improvement globallyAccountable for the budget for end-to-end transformation initiatives About You: Significant senior level of expertise, developed Financial Controller subject matter expertise, owning the end-to-end Financial Controller processes and experience as a GPO within a large-scale multinational, complex, matrix organisation. Sets and manages priorities, resources, performance targets and project initiatives in a global and regional environment. A proven track record of managing complex programme portfolios and delivering measurable success. Excellence in process improvement, change management, Agile Methodology, Six Sigma, Lean, Innovation Methodology, Design Thinking with certification is desirable. Strong process ownership and management methodologies and in-depth knowledge of process mapping, analysis and optimisation techniques. Familiar with ERP systems, workflow automation tools, and data management systems. Identifies trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization based on data analysis. It is essential you can demonstrate your experience in the full end to end process design, possess a high degree of coordination and stakeholder management engagement. As a strategic thinker you can identify innovative solutions and drive successful outcomes. Your communication and work style enables you to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to gain by-in and successful outcomes. You have proven experience in leading process transformation and change management initiatives. Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint. Experienced using on-premise and cloud-based tech platforms to manage financial processes, such as Oracle, Hyperion, EPM and ServiceNow. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization based on data analysis. Excellent communications skills, develops and executes change management strategies to ensure successful uptake of new processes.Bachelor / Master's degree in Business Accounting or Finance and Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) designation essential.
