Graphic Designer (12 months fixed term)

We are looking for an extremely talented intermediate graphic designer for a 12 month fixed term role based in our central Wellington offices.  Our organisation is expanding and your experience designing for both digital and print will be key to us successfully reaching new audiences.

Who we are

Here at The Office of the Ombudsman, we are about fairness for all. The Office handles complaints against government agencies and undertakes investigations and inspections. Good administration is encouraged by providing feedback and training to agencies. The Office also initiates its own investigations where it sees the need.

What you will bring

  • Have 2 – 3 years in an intermediate design position
  • Accomplished in Adobe Creative Cloud, inparticular InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Highly effective in managing tight deadlines and managing expectations
  • Have an avid interest and skills in photography
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in managing and delivering multiple projects
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, well organised, and resilient to ever changing timelines, requests and deliverables
  • Exposure to public sector agencies

Depending on skills and experience, the salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 per annum.
