Graphic designer / Learning developer Job in New Zealand Recruiting by New Zealand Frost Fans Limited

Like-Minded are looking for a graphic designer who can work with the usual tools of the trade, but we also want someone who is flexible and is interested operating partly as a learning developer, working with online authoring tools. You will work with a multi-disciplined team and will engage with a variety of internal staff and external clients to understand their needs, then go on to design assets that support a variety of learning experiences. ---We are looking for someone who has a creative and artistic mind, is excited about producing great design for our products, and we will give preference to candidates who can demonstrate graphic design work experience in some capacity and so, we will be looking for examples of what you have done to contribute to a variety of design projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience. You may not have all these skills but we would like to know which ones you are most skilled in; you may bring other valuable skills that compliment the team: Graphic design work experience, using, e.g., the Adobe suite, Figma.Creative flair and deliver material with a Wow! factor.Be a creative thinker, who doesn’t just do what you’re asked but can help people see greater possibilities.Keeps up to date on the latest design trends and with an eye for quality and detail.Can multi-task, prioritise projects and deadlines, and respond to urgent requests.Knows how to adapt work to still deliver to a high quality within a fixed budget or timeframe.Has experience in a range of formats for graphic design, including some of the following: the Adobe Creative Suite, graphic illustration, brand, layout, editing and annotating videos, animation. Has experience in a range of formats for learning development, including some of the following: Articulate 360, Camtasia, or similar.---Please note that we are primarily an office-based workplace, but we do offer flexibility to ensure you get that balanced life. This is not a remote working role, but we are happy to discuss what sort of flexibility would work for the successful candidate. Currently, as examples, we have staff working some days remote, others on 9-day fortnights, and options for early/late starts and finishes.
