The **Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst** is a key member of the icebreaker financial planning and analysis team with high visibility to senior leadership. The primary responsibilities are to support the APAC Region including global function leads, and regional and global teams in the development and analysis of the annual budget, strategic plan, and monthly forecasts, and to provide reporting and analysis of monthly operating results for icebreaker.
To succeed, this individual will utilise both relationship building and strong analytical/modelling skill sets to provide strategic financial planning and advice to leaders within the region.

**How you will make a difference:**
We are looking for a commercially focused Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst Fixed term for 12 months with proven ability to partner with our Channel Leads to drive business decisions, while capable of getting involved in the detail.
In this role, you will grow to have autonomy to manage key channels and be involved in Strategic Planning and Fiscal Year planning. You will also gain exposure to the rest of the Asia markets (primarily China) and the other VF brand performance and networks, while helping the team implement new processes/models for more effective business practices.
**What you will do:**
+ Support icebreaker NZAU FP&A reporting and analysis with accountability for data accuracy, identification of risks and opportunities, and ownership of schedule definitions.Partner with Channel Leads within the APAC region and coordinate with Global & Regional functions by providing insightful financial analysis and commercial and operational support to enable them to achieve their revenue and profit targets.
+ Prepare market analysis & analytical templates as required to assess business performance & review feasibility of expansion of the business in new markets.
+ Support the budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting processes for all teams in the APAC region, and assist the Senior Manager FP&A APAC with financial reporting to meet agreed deadlines and enable effective business management
+ Participate in monthly financial reviews and annual Assumption reviews, coordinating with Corporate, Global & Regional teams and evaluate performance.
+ Participate in strategic conversations with key stakeholders, questioning and challenging where appropriate to ensure business decisions are carefully considered against financial and strategic business objectives.

**Skills for Success:**
+ Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ years.
+ BA/BS in Business, Finance, or another related discipline, and a minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
+ Fortune 500 publicly traded company experience in a matrix organization is strongly preferred.
+ CA, CMA or CPA preferred.
+ Financial and performance analysis experience & strong financial skills required.
+ Strong financial modelling skills, especially income statement and variance analysis skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Project Planning Capability.
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
+ Outstanding PC skills in Microsoft environment, financial system skills, including Excel & preferably AX or similar.
+ Ability to work closely with the Finance and Operations staff while driving a results-oriented culture and an atmosphere of accountability.
+ Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment & to be a team player.
+ Highly organized & achievement-oriented
+ Self-starter, able to handle multiple demands & competing priorities
+ Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
+ Ability to effectively present findings to management in a clear and concise manner
