Description We are an innovative, passionate growing cabinetmaking company with a state of the art production facility and a genuine passion for the people who make it as much as the people who are buying it. We are serious about assembling the best team of installers possible and we want to start with someone who can lead that team from the front. We specialize in the mid to high end section of the market, mainly focusing on house fitouts with lots of custom cabinetry. About the role: We are currently looking for a skilled hands-on Installation Manager to manage this growing side of the business. To start with you will be managing our sub-contracting installers as well as installing yourself. From here we would like you to work directly with our GM to build out a small team of highly skilled installers which you will manage moving forward. We see the job being very hands on for the first year and then slowly migrating over to a management type role focused on the team you will build and the wider company goals. Attend site with our designers to carry out site measures and help them to problem solve technical issues before the job gets sent to production. liaise directly with our CAD Manager & Production Manager to ensure we are always at the leading edge of our industry and the team has the support where it needs it when it needs it. liaise with the other sub trades to coordinate things like benchtops, plumbers, splashbacks etc. You will be expected to get involved with the development and growth of the company and your opinion will be valued. We work on a huge range of work so there is never a dull day. A little about you: Industry experience is essential, this job is perfect for someone who has experience in cabinet making, especially installation. The job will involve installing to begin with but it would be great for someone looking to get off the tools in the coming years. Happy to fit in and get it done. You must have a genuine desire to be better than the rest with a good eye for detail. Ability to do what it takes to get the job finished for the clients on time, every time.
