We are looking for a Junior Media Planner Buyer to join our Wellington team. About The Role We are looking for a kick arse junior Planner Buyer to contribute tosupport the planning and management of client's media requirements. The role will work on a patch of clients alongside our Business Managers, creating specific and detailed media plans with accuracy around all administration and invoicing. As a vital part of the media planning, implementing and buying process, you will; Undertake category, audience, cultural context, and media research to aid strategy development and other planning requirements across the planning process Contribute robust and creative media thinking to the wider planning process Formulate strong implementation recommendations and schedules that springboard from strategy Take responsibility and accountability for ensuring campaigns are executed and perform to plan Following the approval of media strategy, brief and assess responses from media partners Negotiate with media suppliers, for best client outcome and report and confirm outcome with managers Work alongside your managers to deliver impeccable account servicing, providing exceptional client servicing skills, acknowledging client requests, managing response timelines, and exceeding their expectations About you 1+ years' experience in a media agency or similar environment. Understanding of media fundamentals and foundational planning capability A team player who enjoys working with others to deliver an impeccable experience for our clients A can-do problem-solving attitude. Intuitive, creative thinking self-starter who looks for ways to add value Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills Identifies gaps /opportunities for clients or internally.
